What is Iowa Touchdowns for Kids?

ITDK is a fundraising campaign that links Iowa Hawkeye fans to patients and families treated at UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Friends and fans can pledge $1 (or more!) per touchdown scored by the Hawkeyes during the regular season. You can make a pledge or fulfill last year’s pledge, here.

How does Iowa Touchdowns for Kids work?

Friends and fans can make a pledge at any time during the fall football season. You can pledge $1 (or more!) per touchdown scored by the Hawkeyes this fall by following our “Make a Pledge” link and filling out our pledge form. You can also make one-time donations to our program. Once the regular season ends, we will send you an electronic invoice to the email you provide.

Who do the funds benefit?

The money raised through the Iowa Touchdowns for Kids program benefits patients and families treated at University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital. This money goes to supporting the greatest and most urgent needs of our hospital. In recognition of the support from friends and fans like you, the Press Box Café located on the 12th floor of the hospital is named in honor of the Iowa Touchdowns for Kids program.

How can my business get involved?

Businesses are also encouraged to get involved in the Iowa Touchdowns for Kids program. You may make a pledge on behalf of your business by filling out the “Make a Pledge” form located on our website.
