Kyle Wick – President
Raised in Mount Pleasant, IA, Kyle graduated from the University of Iowa in 2009. Two years after graduation, Kyle made the move to Dallas for a girl, who is now his wife, Stephanie. She also happens to be from Mount Pleasant, but a graduate of SMU. Kyle has been involved with the DFW Iowa Club since 2013 and has served as Club President since 2015. Kyle started the Bryan Street Tavern game watch in Dallas and can be found there on any given gameday. Kyle loves bringing people together for a good time, raising money for great causes, and is of course a corn-fed, diehard Hawkeye.
Pamela Fisher – Secretary
Born and raised in the miniscule town of West Chester, Iowa, Pam has been living in the DFW area since 1997. Currently residing in Arlington, Pam has been involved with Club activities for nearly 20 years. As a Board Member she has helped to run our Mid-Cities area game watch as it has moved throughout the years. She has been involved in fundraising efforts for the club and enjoys meeting current students when they are in the area for alternate Spring Break service projects. Elected Secretary in 2019, Pam is looking forward to an increased role in the planning and organizing of club events. She has worked in auditing, early education administration, and testing services.
Jerry Todd Fisher – B1G 10 Liaison
A highly recruited track athlete out of Dallas, TX, it took only one college visit for Jerry to decide he would attend school at the U of I. While studying for his degree, if he wasn’t competing, he was cheering at other Hawkeye athletic events. Since moving back to TX in 1997 with his family, he has continued to show his love for the Hawkeyes through his involvement with the DFW Iowa Club.
Amy Hicklin – Treasurer
Born and raised in the Midwest, primarily Cincinnati, Ohio area, Amy has strong Iowa roots as a 4th generation University of Iowa graduate. Amy has been involved with the DFW Iowa club (previously known as “Metroplex Hawkeye Club”) since moving to North Texas in 1988. As a Board Member she has helped run our game watch location in Richardson, TX (Wizards Sports Café) where Dallas area Hawkeye fans have been gathering for over 15 years!
Danielle Chelf – Board Member at large
A 2016 graduate of the University of Iowa, born and raised in Iowa City, Danielle’s Hawkeye spirit has been with her from the start. As season ticket holders, Danielle and her family rarely missed an Iowa football game and loved spending their fall Saturdays on Melrose Avenue. While at the University of Iowa, she participated in 5 years of Dance Marathon, volunteering at the children’s hospital, and enjoying every sports game she could attend. After graduating from the University of Iowa with a BS in Interdepartmental Business Studies, she moved to Dallas to start her career in non-profit management at The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society of North Texas. When not working, you can find Danielle traveling, attending any sports games, and spending time with her family and friends.
