  • Annual Dues Reminder
    Each year, the annual potluck and membership meeting held in August kicks off the club’s year. If you were unable to attend, please take a moment to mail your dues. A check should be made payable to Memphis IOWA Club and mailed to: Shawn Beyer; 230 Aston Hall Drive; Eads, TN 38028. Dues are a reasonable $15/single or $20/family. Your Board of Directors thanks you in advance for your help!

  • Once a Hawkeye Birthday Club:  Please take a few minutes to check on the UIAA’s Birthday Club.  Current UIAA members can enroll as many children as they’d like for a one-time enrollment fee/child.  Children continue receiving Birthday Club benefits as long as your UIAA membership is active.  There are some very nice Hawkeye-themed gifts that are age-appropriate.  And … if you are joining the UIAA, please be sure to indicate Memphis as your IOWA Club.  We will receive a rebate of $5 for each new member who joins the UIAA.  This rebate will allow the Memphis IOWA Club to continue to provide support for all our various activities.

Hawkeye Style Cookbooks Available
In 2004 to celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Memphis IOWA Club and to generate funds in support of our Scholarship Endowment Fund held at the University of Iowa, the Hawkeye Style cookbook was published.  By popular demand, we have requested the second printing and have a supply on hand.  Please keep this great gift in mind for those on your gift giving lists, whether it be graduations, anniversaries, holiday, wedding and bridal shower or other.  Price is $14 each.   Ordering information — online with PayPal or by mail — may be found here.

School Supply Drive:
We will be collecting school supplies for donation to de la Salle Elementary School.  Please consider picking up a few things for them, or donate some cash, and we’ll do the shopping for you.
