Yes. We are allowing all participants to cancel or transfer their registration before April 11, 2021.

Mostly due to scheduling difficulties. The constant changes in College Football, mostly involving recruiting, have made scheduling Ladies Football Academy increasingly difficult for coaches and players. Regretfully, all good things come to an end. Celebrating 10 years of Ladies Football Academy seems the better way to end this wonderful event on a high note. Iowa Football has had a great time teaming up with the many women of Hawkeye Nation to support UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital. Unfortunately, due continued campus Covid restrictions, we have made the decision to postpone the 10th and final Ladies Football Academy one more year. We’re looking forward to the biggest and best Ladies Football Academy yet to come on June 11, 2022!

The event is outside on Kinnick Field. Wear athletic shoes, no sandals, and comfortable, weather-appropriate clothes that will allow you to move freely. Each participant receives an official Ladies’ Football Academy T-shirt, poncho, towel and gymsack at check-in on the day of the event. Remember sunscreen.

Women of every size and shape, ages 18 – 85+ have participated and thoroughly enjoyed the day. You choose your level of participation and activity. There is easy access to free, unlimited water and shaded rest areas. We have golf carts if needed.

Past prize winners have raised between $1,500 – $23,000!

You can! You will be amazed how many people are impacted by UI Stead Family Children’s Hospital and will support you. Go to Fundraising Tips for more help. You can pay any balance due yourself, by cash, check or credit card, at check-in on the day of the event

Make checks out to Ladies Football Academy. Be sure to include your name so we know who’s total to credit them to. Mail to Ladies Football Academy, P.O. Box 3251, Iowa City, Iowa 52244. After June 1, 2022, do not mail checks, bring them to the event.

There is free unlimited Dansani water. Lunch is from Panera Bread.

No. This is an exclusive event for registered participants only. Security procedures will be in place and will be strictly enforced.

Please do not bring purses, bags, or personal backpacks; they will get in your way, and we are not responsible for lost or stolen items. You will receive an official Ladies’ Football Academy Nike gymsack that will hold small personal items such as keys, cell phone, sunscreen and wallet. Bring your wallet in case you want to order additional LFA gear.

Cell phones and pocket-sized cameras are acceptable. Make sure you have plenty of storage so you can take lots of pictures! Large cameras are discouraged, as they will get in the way of being able to freely enjoy the day’s activities. There will be times when you will be directed to put all cell phones and cameras away. Again, we are not responsible for lost or stolen items.

Yes. We accept any matching gift! Check with your employer on their policy. Submit their required paperwork with your donation and we will do the rest.
