In addition to our watch parties, we like to get our Hawkeye family together as often as possible. Below is a list of upcoming events and initiatives as well as others currently in the works.
Past Events:
Iowa Wave Video. August 2018 our club filmed a video that was shown at Kinnick during the first game of the season during the Wave to the Children’s hospital. We had a couple hundred area Hawkeyes show up at our two location shoots (Dallas skyline and Ft Worth Stock Yards). We also ran a gofundme page during the month of August, where we raised $7,000 that was donated to the children’s hospital!
Grappling Childhood Cancer with Coach Dan Gable – Charity Dinner. Our club is proud to put on this special event on Thursday, April 20th, 2017 at 6:30pm at Hackberry Creek Country Club in Irving. Dan Gable will be giving a keynote speech and there will be an auction and raffle, with proceeds from the ticket sales and auction supporting TeamConnor Childhood Cancer Foundation. http://www.teamconnor.org/. 3rd Annual Big Game USA Football Factory Tour
Happened May 2018. Stay tuned for the 4th installment, most likely May 2019. Come see Iowa’s footballs for the upcoming season being made, and even sign the inside of a ball that will be played with! There will be a food truck, drinks, music, games, and a raffle.
